I’m currently working with one of the most high profile annual events companies to hire a Head of Event Operations to lead a high performing team. 

You will oversee the USA events and commercial operations team, working on the planning and delivery of their marquee annual event. 

You will:

  • Own the operational strategy for the US show and communicate this clearly and effectively to the wider operations team
  • Partner with senior leaders across the business to ensure that the show is aligned to strategic objectives and delivers the show in the best possible light
  • Work closely with internal teams to source reliable and innovative suppliers, locally where possible (to Las Vegas)
  • Align with your global counterparts to ensure that the show is delivered consistently where needed

Required Experience:

  • Proven large scale events operations experience,
  • Experience of working Las Vegas based shows/events is mandatory for this role
  • Experience across traditional events and commercial operations
  • Current or prior experience of managing a small team
  • Great stakeholder management experience as well as world class communications skills

This role will be Remote first (current team distributed across the US) with occasional travel as to be expected with this type of role.
