Having built a successful business in London, this organization was looking to expand into America for the first time. At the time, the business was still very new to the region (with only three people on the ground) and so needed our specialist recruiters to support their growth.

Partnering with the Chief Product Officer to identify the right product talent
Specialist product recruiter, Owen Dearn, worked closely with the Chief Product Officer to identify the right product talent for the role. In order to get a true understanding of the position, business and team, he met with the CPO in-person in London to have a detailed conversation about their hiring needs.
As they were expanding into the region, it was important for this organization to identify a Product Lead with the skills and experience to build out their credit card offering from scratch in nine months. This was a huge opportunity for the right candidate.
Owen is specialized in the US FinTech space, so he was aware of all other businesses who have launched credit cards in the last 2 years. As a result, Owen knew exactly which organizations to headhunt product talent from and quickly delivered a shortlist to the CPO.
Helping the business build their New York office
The Product Lead needed to be based in New York, as the business has plans to continue building their office there.
Owen ran a thorough search and quickly delivered the CPO a shortlist of five brilliant candidates. From there, they took two candidates through to the final interview stage.
The preferred candidate had some questions around the compensation and benefits package on offer, but Owen managed the entire offer process, successfully creating a positive experience for everyone involved. From start to finish, the talent search lasted just three weeks and the Product Lead is currently excelling in their role.
