Sourcing the right marketing leaders
Flipside Crypto were searching for a Director of Marketing when we first got in touch. They were searching for someone who would be able to complement their CMO’s skill set. But despite engaging other recruitment agencies, the business was struggling to identify the right talent and so needed our specialist help.
As their CMO comes from an analytical background, the company was searching for a Director of Marketing who is more creative in order to diversify the team’s skill set. It was also important for the successful candidate to have 2-3 years of experience in the blockchain and web3 industry. As the industry is still very new, the number of candidates who fall into this category is small. This is where we come in. George has built an extensive network of web3 industry marketers and so was able to source an excellent candidate for the role.
Continuing to support the business
Thanks to George’s excellent work on this first brief, Flipside Crypto have continued to work with him and the 3Search team on a retained basis.
The business also required support on a Head of Community role, which required a unique search. It was important for George to broaden his search on this occasion, moving beyond the usual sources of LinkedIn and job boards and expanding to include social media platforms, such as Reddit and Discord. The ideal candidate needed to have experience with these platforms and so this helped him to identify more suitable candidates.
We originally reached out to George regarding a senior marketing position that was proving to be a tricky search. From George’s initial shortlist we were able to interview several candidates and get an offer out after just a couple of weeks. Since then, we have worked with George on scaling our marketing team further and is proving to be very helpful!
